The Great Midwest indoor track & field championship will begin on Friday, February 27 at 10 A.M. and end on Saturday, February 28. A full schedule of events can be found HERE.

VENUE
The NISS Athletic Center is located on the campus of Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio. 

The Niss Athletic Centers features a 300m, six lane track and eight lane straightaway covered in Mondo track
surface.
Two Long Jump/Triple Jump pits are available for competition. The runway between the two pits is
290’1’’/88.42m in total length. Each pits is 9’9’’ wide and 29’1’’ long.
Men’s Long Jump/Triple Jump:
• Long Jump Board: 8’/2.35m
• Triple Board 1: 36’ / 10.97m
• Triple Board 2: 44’ / 13.41m
Women’s Long Jump/Triple Jump
• Long Jump Board: 8’/2.45m
• Triple Board 1: 27’10.5’’ / 8.5m
• Triple Board 2: 32’9.5’’ / 10m
The Pole Vault runway is 142ft/43m in length.
The Weight Throw will take place inside the cage on the north side of the facility. Shot put will be adjacent to the
weight throw on the north side of the facility. Both implements will be thrown from wooden circles.
The High Jump will be contested at the south end of the facility.
There will be portable bleachers throughout the facility. Spectators are encouraged to bring folding chairs.
