Del Monaco named Director of Track and Field and Cross Country

TIFFIN, Ohio- Mark Del Monaco has been named Director of Track and Field and Cross Country at Tiffin University.

Del Monaco, who will enter his fourth year as Tiffin's Head Cross Country Coach in 2025-26, has worked with the track and field program extensively during his time with Tiffin. Del Monaco has coached the Dragons to 10 All American honors, 23 USTFCCCA All Region honors, 36 G-MAC All Conference honors, 32 school records and an individual national champion, along with 22 All Academic honorees and 58 G-MAC All Academic honorees.

In addition, he has coached three team conference champions, 16 NCAA Championship qualifiers, and 6 conference champions.

Del Monaco served as the Director of Cross Country and Track and Field at Minot State University from 2018-2022.

Del Monaco came to Minot State from Cal State East Bay in Hayward, California, where he was the assistant coach from 2016-18. He also was an assistant coach at Metropolitan State in Denver, Colorado, for three seasons.

During his stints at Cal State East Bay and Metro State, Del Monaco coached 12 All-Americans, 23 all-region honorees and had 25 student-athletes named all-conference.

Del Monaco earned his degree and competed at La Salle in 2011 in information technology with a minor in history.
