ASHLAND,Ohio- The Tiffin men and Ashland women were crowned 2025 Great Midwest Indoor Track & Field Champions Saturday (March 1) afternoon. Both teams took home the title for the second consecutive year.
Tiffin racked up 162 team points in their first place finish while Ashland tabbed 191.5 points on the women’s side.
For the men, Tiffin totaled five student-athletes on the all-conference teams, including Track Athlete of the Meet Talel Khalfi. Khalfi racked up first-place finishes in the mile, 3,000m, and 5,000m runs. Joshua Page also took home the gold in the 200M and 400M dash to add to Tiffin’s point total. Myles Sams rounds out first-team all-conference members from Tiffin with a first place finish in the triple jump.
On the women’s side, the Eagles scored 191.5 points to secure their second consecutive G-MAC title. Ashland totaled six student-athletes on either first or second team all-conference with first place finishes in the weight throw, shot put, distance medley relay, 800M dash, 3,000M, 60 hurdles, and triple jump. Molly Winner was named Co-Field Athlete of the Meet in addition to Tiffin’s C’Airra Carter. Sophomore Molly Winner won the shot put with an improved provisional mark of 15.24m. She went on to win the weight throw with a mark of 20.36m. Lily Dowdell as well as a trio from Findlay in Jordan Taylor, Leah Smith, and Kylie Ray earned Track Athlete of the Meet honors. Dowdell clocked a 3,000m time of 9:55.59.
The Great Midwest Indoor Championships concluded with an awards ceremony honoring both team champions as well as a host of individual winners.
