INDIANAPOLIS—The Great Midwest Athletic Conference announced all-conference and end-of-the year awards for the 2022-23 Indoor Track & Field Season.

It was another banner season for Great Midwest member institutions as over 50 student-athletes from the league were poised to make their mark at the NCAA Championships in Virginia Beach, Va. to transition to the outdoor season.

The Great Midwest Indoor Track & Field Championships were housed at Ashland’s Niss Athletic Center as both Findlay men and women captured the championship title. Findlay men hoisted the Great Midwest trophy for the third consecutive year, while the women won for the second year in a row.

The All-Conference teams are composed of a first-team, second-team, and a third-team, with the top finish in either track or field event taking priority if a student-athlete was entered in multiple events.

Findlay led all schools for both men's and women's selections with a combined total of 34 to the all-conference team.

The coaches also voted their picks for end-of-the-year awards, separate from the meet awards that were presented at Ashland.

Zach Kreft was voted the Male Track Athlete of the Year, Findlay's Eliot Cummings was Great Midwest Field Athlete of the Year, and Findlay's Jared Krout swept both sides as the Coach of the Year.
