NEW ORLEANS, LA—A trio of teams from the Great Midwest are featured in the sixth edition of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Top 25.
Tiffin cracked the Top 10 as the highest ranking team from the league. The Dragons are coming off a strong performance at the Great Midwest Championship, in which they finished second behind Findlay. Several individuals earned all-conference status while finishing first, second, or third in their event. Malachi Adams led the way with a first-place finish in the 60m and a second-place finish in the 200m.
The Oilers are slotted at No. 14 after winning their third consecutive G-MAC championship over the weekend. Findlay totaled 182 points, including a handful of first-place finishers.
The Cavaliers from Walsh University are ranked No. 17 and finished sixth of 10 teams at the conference meet.
All three programs will await for the NCAA to announce qualifiers for the National Championship, set to take place March 10-11 in Virginia Beach, VA.
