NEW ORLEANS,LA- Three teams from the Great Midwest appeared in this week’s United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll, released Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Tiffin University Dragons cracked the Top 10 in this week’s rankings, followed by Findlay at No. 17 and Walsh at No. 22.
 
The Dragons have several individuals who rank nationally in their events. Jacob McPherson is second in the nation in the weight throw with a mark of 20.74. Malachi Adams recorded the fourth-best 60-meter dash time at 6.69. Collin Jasin is fourth in Division II in the pole vault with a mark of 5.20 meters.
 
Both Findlay and Walsh wrapped up the month of January at the Penn State National Invitational this past weekend, where several student-athletes finished in the top 10 of their events.
 
All three teams will compete in Ashland this upcoming weekend at the Jud Logan Light Giver Open.
