INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference, in partnership with Conference Carolinas, announced that Liberty Lanes will once again host the men’s and women’s bowling championships.

The 2023 Conference Carolinas/Great Midwest Men’s and Women’s Bowling Championships are scheduled for Friday, March 24 through Sunday, March 26 at Liberty Lanes in Gastonia, North Carolina.

“We are excited to be returning to Liberty Lanes for the 2023 Championship after such a tremendous experience at the venue in 2022,” stated Great Midwest Commissioner Tom Daeger. “Liberty Lanes and the Gastonia community provided a welcoming environment for the inaugural Conference Carolinas/Great Midwest event last year and we look forward to partnering with them again. Our thanks to Bill Martin and our friends at Conference Carolinas for facilitating this new agreement.”

The Great Midwest is once again eager to partner with Conference Carolinas for this event.

“We are thrilled to be able to return the Conference Carolinas/Great Midwest Men’s and Women’s Bowling Championship to Liberty Lanes,” Conference Carolinas Commissioner Chris Colvin said. “Last year’s inaugural event was a rousing success and we are excited to once again partner with a first class venue to give our bowling student-athletes a true championship experience.”

Liberty Lanes is a family-friendly bowling center that caters to all skill levels of bowlers with 32 bumper friendly lanes and an in-house pro shop. They too are looking forward to opening their doors to collegiate bowlers.
