The senior also finished second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.64. Gauldin is currently tied for the 10th across Division II with his provisional 60-meter dash time.

Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
Tommy Ansiel
Cedarville
Pole Vault

Warrenville, IL (Wheaton Warrenville South HS)
Ansiel auto qualified in the pole vault at the Tiffin Dragon Grand Prix, officially taking over the lead in the Division II with a new season-best 5.25m (17’ 2.75”).
Ansiel passed Central Missouri’s Vincent Hobbie (5.23m). Together, they are the only automatic qualifiers for the event in 2020-21. He was that much closer to matching his PR and conference record of 5.26m recorded in 2019.
Ansiel had also previously cleared 5.25m in 2019 at the Cedarville Collegiate Invitational during his sophomore season. He holds five of the top 10 placings in the indoor pole vault performance list in Great Midwest history.
The NCAA DII automatic qualifying height is 5.23m.
This is his second conference field athlete of the week honor for the current season.
