INDIANAPOLIS – Two stellar individual performances on the lanes led to Walsh and Kentucky Wesleyan to earning Great Midwest Athletic Conference Bowling Athletes of the Week honors.
Men’s Athlete of the Week

Walsh competed in two American Heartland Bowling Association events over the weekend in Michigan.
On Saturday, the Cavaliers finished fourth out of 20 participants followed by a second-place finish on Sunday.
Mutchler finished 15th on Saturday as an individual posting a 1,008 series over five games recording a high game of 226.
The sophomore took things to a whole new level on Sunday. Over four games, Mutchler totaled 938 pins with a 234.5 average for the day good enough to win the individual crown by 12 pins.
Mutchler put a bow on his already impressive performance by rolling a 300 in his third game of the day. The Dansville, Penn., native etched his name in history becoming the first Cavalier to record the elusive score.
Women’s Athlete of the Week

Kentucky Wesleyan
Freshman
Winnebago, IL (Winnebago HS)
Kentucky Wesleyan posted a top-10 finish over the weekend at the Valpo Bowling Classic.
Conley was the Panthers high man of the tournament finishing seventh as an individual. The freshman went for a 976 series over six games averaging 195.2 pins per game.
The Winnebago, Ill., native got off to an impressive start rolling a 278 in game one, her highest game of the tournament.
Kentucky Wesleyan returns to the lanes on Nov. 27 at the National Collegiate Team Match Games in Fairview Heights, Ill.
