INDIANAPOLIS – More provisional marks were met and league records went down as Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week awards were announced on Tuesday morning.

Cincinnati, OH (North College Hill HS)
It is an embarrassment of riches for the Dragons in the short sprints between Jonte Baker, Errik Snell, Tajarie Arthurton, Elijah Gouldin, Drew Hickman and others. Add Hargrove to that mix after he competed in his second event of the indoor season.
It was a record-breaking performance at the Dragon Grand Prix for the senior as he reset the conference record in the 60-meter dash finals.
Hargrove broke the record previously held by Baker by one hundredth of a second, a 6.76 clocked three different times this year.
Hargrove also edged out Baker in a photo finish for first place after running a 6.86 in the preliminaries. Hargrove’s time of 6.75 is currently ranked fifth in all of Division II this season.
He also clocked one of the conference’s best 200-meter times with a 22.03, finishing second in the finals. His time ranks ninth best in Great Midwest history.
