INDIANAPOLIS – In everyone’s final primer before the indoor conference championships, the latest set Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week awards was handed out to Malone.
The Pioneers competed at the Kent State Tune-Up Meet while putting a dent into some of the top times and distances all-time in conference history.
Twelve men’s institutions will compete for the indoor conference championship men’s team title at Hillsdale’s Biermann Center this weekend. Malone is the defending team champion and the Pioneers will bid to repeat.

Malone has been a member institution of the Great Midwest for less than two years, but Dulin has collected seven total indoor/outdoor conference track/field athlete of the week awards.
The speedster was at it again after being named G-MAC Track Athlete of the Year for both the indoor and outdoor seasons last year as a sophomore.
He shattered his own 60-meter hurdles record in a time of 8.05, winning his event with 29 other individuals entered.
The record-breaking time has him settled at tied for 13th nationally in Division II as a provisional qualifier. Only two student-athletes have hit the auto-qualifying mark of 7.90 this season.
He also blazed a 22.07 in the 200-meter dash finals, a time that clocks in at third best in league history only behind Hunter Williams of Walsh. Dulin would finish third in his heat and sixth overall in the event.

Riddle has battled back and forth with Findlay’s Martin Etsey this season for top marks around the conference as the duo has re-written the conference triple jump records.
Riddle now has four of the Great Midwest’s top 10 best, none better than his attempt at the Kent State Tune-Up last weekend.
Riddle leaped 14.91m (48’ 11”) on both his fifth and sixth attempts in the pit to hit the provisional mark again for the third time this year. He also ranks 16th nationally among all jumpers.
His distance places him with the fourth-best triple jump mark in conference indoor history.
