Trio Representing G-MAC at NCAA Indoor T&F Championships

GREENWOOD, Ind.
– Bea Indurain and Nicole Burlinson of Ursuline with James Blackwell of Cedarville will be representing the Great Midwest Athletic Conference in the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships over the next two days in Alabama.
 
This year’s national indoor meet is being held in Birmingham at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and Birmingham CrossPlex.
 
After hitting various provisional marks throughout the course of the spring at various meets and the inaugural G-MAC Championships, Indurain will be competing in the 60-meter hurdles, Burlinson in the 800-meter run and Blackwell in the pole vault.
 
Indurain and Burlinson will participate in Friday’s preliminaries with aspirations of advancing to the finals while Blackwell is slated to compete on Saturday in the finals at 4:30 p.m. CST.
 
Indurain was the G-MAC’s Women’s Track Athlete of the Year and Blackwell was the G-MAC’s Men’s Field Athlete of the Year as voted upon by the league’s coaches. Burlinson was a first-team all-conference selection.
