OVERVIEW: Northwood and Walsh remain as the lone undefeated team in the conference following week four of the 2026 season. Both programs pulled off upsets, as Northwood defeated No. 9 Findlay and Walsh beat Ashland. Hillsdale, Tiffin, and Ohio Dominican also collected wins during week four.

INSIDE THE GAMES:

• In the conference matchup of the week, No. 23 Northwood delivered an authoritative road statement by taking down No. 9 Findlay at Donnell Stadium. Quarterback Ethan Hamby led the Timberwolves' efficient offense, throwing for 273 yards and 3 touchdowns while adding a rushing touchdown to keep Northwood undefeated on the season. NU held the Oilers scoreless in the second and fourth quarters, with Joe Lathers leading the way with six tackles and 1 sack.
• The Cavaliers remain unbeaten this year after a home victory over preseason favorite Ashland. Tied 10-10 in the third quarter, running back Jake Gill scored the game-winning 1-yard touchdown run to push the Cavaliers to a 4-0 record. Walsh defensive tandem of Luke Dobbins and Eddie Nichols combined for 17 tackles, while Dobbins also added a sack.
• The Hillsdale defense proved dominant, allowing just one Thomas More touchdown in a 38-7 home victory. Luke Penola led the charge with eight tackles, while Evan Bienick added five on the day. Ben Ngishu, Colin McKernan, Will Simpson, Shea Ruddy, and Andrew Konieczny were each credited with one touchdown apiece in Hillsdale’s first conference win.
• Ohio Dominican secured a 27–19 road victory over Lake Erie, as the Panthers rushed for 259 total yards. Nathan Webster was at the helm of the rushing attack, recording his first 100-yard game with 125 yards, including a touchdown in the first quarter. Ahead 6–0 in the second quarter, ODU successfully executed a fake punt on 4th-and-7 from their own 24-yard line; Yon German broke free for a 30-yard gain to keep the drive alive, culminating in a Carson Parker 1-yard touchdown plunge.
• Tiffin dominated Kentucky Wesleyan 48–13 at Steele Stadium, built on an explosive 24-point second-quarter surge. Kyle Antoine threw for 201 yards on 10 completions and a pair of touchdowns. One of the games biggest defensive plays came from Davontez Lewis, who recorded a pick six in the second quarter to extend the Dragons’ lead.
