MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University football team has moved up to No. 14 in the latest American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II poll.

This Northwood's highest ranking in the AFCA poll since October 16, 2006, when Northwood stood ninth.

The Timberwolves are also ranked in the latest Division II polls conducted by D2Football.com (No. 12) and FloSports (No. 11).

Northwood is now 4-0, 2-0 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC), coming off a 34-11 road win over Findlay. UF was ranked No. 9 in last week's AFCA Poll.

The Timberwolves will host Kentucky Wesleyan (0-4, 0-2 G-MAC) Saturday (October 3). Game time is set for Noon.
