INDIANAPOLIS- The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) released the top eight finalists for both the men’s and women’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award. Mary Kelly Mulcahy, a former University of Findlay women’s golf student-athlete, has been selected as the winner from the Midwest Region.
Mulcahy, a four-time all-American golfer, carried a 4.0 cumulative GPA as a business administration major. The Lima, Ohio native led the Oilers to a national championship in 2022 after collecting the team’s third consecutive East Regional title.
At the conference level, Mulcahy was the Elite 26 Award winner for academic excellence, two-time G-MAC Athlete of the Year, 2025 Scholar-Athlete of the Year, 2025 Collegiate Achievement Award recipient, and was the 2025 conference Woman of the Year nominee.
During her time at Findlay, Mulcahy garnered 13 individual medalist honors and was named the 2023-24 Division II National Player of the Year. She was also only one of two non- Division I individuals selected to represent Team USA for the Arnold Palmer Cup.
Conference offices were permitted to submit one male and one female nominee for the overall awards. Each of the winners will advance to the national ballot for consideration.
