INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference highlights University of Findlay distance runner Benjamin Hall and Ashland University golfer Maddie Fleck following their successful participation in the NCAA Legacy Lab in Indianapolis. The fully funded, four-day experience brought together selected Division I, II, and III student-athletes from across the nation to translate their athletic discipline into tangible business and brand-building skills while actively competing in collegiate sports.

During the program at NCAA headquarters, Hall and Fleck engaged in interactive workshops, executive mentorship, and hands-on venture design across three specialized tracks focused on Name, Image, and Likeness strategy, business start-up fundamentals, and socially responsible entrepreneurship. Throughout the event, both student-athletes leveraged the resilience and focus built on the track and golf course to pitch original venture concepts and outline long-term career roadmaps.

"Attending the NCAA Legacy Lab was truly an unforgettable experience," said Fleck. "I loved being surrounded by so many driven student-athletes who were passionate about growing as leaders, building their brands and making an impact beyond their sport. I left Indianapolis feeling inspired, confident and even more excited to pursue my goals in NIL, content creation and entrepreneurship."

Selection for the NCAA Legacy Lab requires student-athletes to be sophomores or juniors in good academic standing and nominated by institutional athletics administrators.
