The Hillsdale College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee hosted its annual Trunk or Treat for the Hillsdale community on Sunday, Oct. 25. Nearly 500 members of the community attended the event, held in the Roche Sports Complex parking lot, while all 14 of Hillsdale's NCAA-sponsored sports teams, its shotgun and action shooting teams, its cheer squad and several other representatives of dorms and greek organizations across campus put together activities for the kids. Area children got to participate in several fun activities, including: face painting and temporary tattoos, arts and crafts, karaoke, football footwork drills, nerf gun targets, putt putt, hop scotch, baseball tee work, pickleball, and mini-tennis, as well as receiving candy. All 23 groups that took part came in costumes and decorated their trunks. Along with serving the community, Hillsdale SAAC raised over $200 for Make-a-Wish through donations.
