INDIANAPOLIS — The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) spring golf season continued its march toward conference championship play during Week 6. Findlay’s men's team delivered a historic, record-setting performance at their home-hosted spring event in Kentucky, while the women’s teams scattered across the region to test themselves against Division I and Division II competition.


Men’s Golf Recap

  • Active Teams: Ashland, Cedarville, Findlay, Hillsdale, Kentucky Wesleyan, Northwood, Ohio Dominican, Thomas More, Tiffin, Walsh

  • Findlay Spring Invitational (Richmond, Ky.): No. 46 Findlay delivered a dominant team victory at Boone's Trace National GC, securing the championship with a blazing 54-hole score of 834 (-30). The Oilers steadily built their lead, carding team rounds of 285, 277, and 272 to completely run away from the field. Tiffin claimed 4th place overall with a team score of 860 (-4), while Ashland tied for 5th at 863 (-1). The event served as a major showcase for G-MAC men's golf, with three conference teams finishing under par and inside the top 5.

  • Tennessee River Rumble (Lenoir City, Tenn.): Cedarville traveled to Windriver GC to compete in a deep regional field. The Yellow Jackets placed tied for 17th (+61), led by Ian Reed (+6) and DJ Norman (+10).

Women’s Golf Recap

  • Active Teams: Ashland, Cedarville, Malone, Ohio Dominican

  • NKU Julie Invitational (Batavia, Ohio): Ashland traveled to Elks Run GC to compete against a Division I-heavy field hosted by Northern Kentucky. The Eagles secured a 7th-place finish (+95) behind solid play from Zoe Mort, Leeann Harker, and Anna Machamer, who all posted opening rounds of +4 to pace the team.

  • Trailblazer Spring Invitational (Travelers Rest, S.C.): Malone secured a spot on the podium at Cherokee Valley GC. The Pioneers finished in 3rd place with a two-round team total of +116, battling through tough scoring conditions.

  • Patsy Rendleman Invitational (Salisbury, N.C.): Ohio Dominican earned a 6th-place finish (+123) against a crowded Division II field at the Country Club of Salisbury. Alana Miller, Ava Kemp, and Maria Briceno Vargas anchored the lineup for the Panthers.

  • Greenwood Women's Invitational (Greenwood, S.C.): Cedarville made the trek to South Carolina to compete in the Lander-hosted event at Greenwood CC, finishing 11th (+184). Liz Miller was the top finisher for the Yellow Jackets, tying for 49th (+16).
