INDIANAPOLIS -- The second week of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) spring golf season saw the women’s teams officially begin their campaign. Northwood traveled out west to Arizona, representing the league against a Division I-heavy field at the Grand Canyon Invitational. With the men's teams remaining largely idle ahead of a busy March slate, Northwood was the sole G-MAC program in action this week, marking the official start of the women's spring schedule.


Women’s Golf Recap

  • Active Teams: Northwood

  • Event: Grand Canyon Invitational (Grand Canyon University GCS – Phoenix, Ariz.)

  • Team Finish: Northwood placed 5th in a primarily NCAA Division I field with a team total of +101.

  • Top Performer: Sydney Dausman paced the Timberwolves, finishing tied for 23rd overall with a three-round total of 237 (+21). Her performance was highlighted by back-to-back rounds of 78 to close out the tournament.
