Dragons Top Men's Tennis Preseason Coaches Poll

INDIANAPOLIS-  Tiffin University found themselves at the top of the men’s tennis preseason coaches poll, the league office announced on Wednesday.
 
The Dragons received six first place votes and totaled 71 points to top the coaches poll. Men’s Coach of the Year Phil Conley led the Dragons to an overall record of 20-9 and as well as their third consecutive Great Midwest Title. Tiffin went on to earn a bid to the NCAA regional before falling to Wayne State.
 
Findlay was voted as the preseason runner-up after finishing the 2024 season with an overall record of 12-9. The Oilers return all-conference members in Luigi Bove, Clement Andrieu, and Dallas Ramsay. Bove was a first-team selection after registering a 5-2 record in singles play while posting an undefeated 8-0 record in doubles. Andrieu and Ramsay each earned a spot on second time as Findlay advanced to the NCAA regional for the first time in program history.
 
Walsh edged Hillsdale by one point to earn the third spot in the preseason poll. Luis Hernandez returns for the Cavaliers after earning a spot on the first team all-conference list. Hernandez finished the year (RECORD).
 
Northwood and Ashland were voted fifth and sixth, followed by Cedarville, Thomas More, and Kentucky Wesleyan.
 
Conference matches are set to begin Saturday, March 22. The Great Midwest Championship is scheduled for April 24-26 in Owensboro, KY.
