INDIANAPOLIS- Three teams in Cedarville, Tiffin, and Kentucky Wesleyan clinched a spot in the postseason during week eight of the 2025 season.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
- The Cedarville Yellow Jackets remain at the top of the men’s soccer standings with 27 points and a conference mark of 8-0-3. The Yellow Jackets finished week eight with 2 straight shutouts over Northwood and Malone. The strong defensive effort was led by Kirk Wilson who earned Defensive Player of the Week honors. Wilson averaged 81 minutes and while the defense extended their shutout streak to seven consecutive games while allowing just a total of three shots on goal this week.
- Tiffin followed suite with two straight shutouts over Lake Erie and Ashland. Six different Dragons scored in a 6-0 shutout against Lake Erie. Adrian Lechunga, Callum Ellington, Anelson Azard, Sam Brittain, Noah Purtz, and Nasir Eloi were each credited with goals. Tiffin is just one point behind Cedarville in the conference standings with 26 points.
- Kentucky Wesleyan’s Jersey Lopez earned Offensive Player of the Week honors after scoring a pair of goals in a 4-2 victory over Northwood last weekend. Lopez currently leads the league in assists per game at .400. The Panthers also tabbed a 2-0 shutout over Findlay during the week.
- Findlay and Thomas More went 1-1 on the week. Thomas More won 3-0 over Ohio Dominican, as the Saints limited the Panthers to just two shots on goal. Nick Phyllis scored a pair of goal in the victory.
- Findlay then defeated Thomas More 1-0 to improve to 6-3-2 in the conference. Emerson Layman scored the lone goal in the match.
