INDIANAPOLIS- This past week, Great Midwest men's soccer teams continued conference play with multiple competitive and close matchups as the postseason continues to get closer. Cedarville earned two victories, while Lake Erie also picked up two wins. Across the eleven matches, four ended in draws, highlighting the competitive nature of conference play.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS:

• Cedarville earned two conference wins. They came back from a 1-0 deficit against Findlay on Thursday with goals from Bryan Cortina in the 85th minute and Jackson Baker in the 89th minute to earn a 2-1 win. The Yellow Jackets followed with a 2-0 upset over No. 25 Tiffin on Saturday, as Cortina and Eddie Merck each scored while the defense held the Dragons without a shot on goal.
• After losing 0-2 to Northwood in their last meeting, the Ashland Eagles played them again and won 2-0. Tom Woodward scored twice in the final 13 minutes to bring his season total to a conference-leading eight goals. Goalkeeper Jaime Duran recorded his fifth shutout of the season.
• Lake Erie earned a 2-1 victory over Malone on Thursday, and then won again against Ashland on Saturday. Their win against Malone was led by Nicolas Vagujhelyi's two-goal performance, and the Storm defense held Malone without a shot in the second half. The Storm followed with a shutout over the Eagles, as Fabio Juricko scored in the 40th minute.
