OWENSBORO, Ky. – Tiffin won its third consecutive G-MAC Championship with a close 4-3 victory over rival Findlay.
The Dragons started off strong winning the doubles point. Ruben Fonga/Matthew Weaver won 6-2 and Cyrille Colomb/Martin Driesner won 6-1.
In singles, Tiffin battled in two three-set matches to win the conference title. Max Navrotchi picked up the championship-deciding victory with a 7-5, 3-6, 6-1 win. Great Midwest Play of the Year Ruben Fonga posted a 6-3, 2-6, 3-6 victory while Weaver also won his singles match in straight sets 6-1, 6-2.
Tiffin has secured a berth in the NCAA Midwest Regional and will seeding and opponent information with the selection show set for Monday, May 6.
