OWENSBORO, Ky.- The Great Midwest Athletic Conference is preparing for its 11
th annual Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships, hosted by the Pearl Club in Owensboro, Ky.
The par 72, 6,925 yard layout will be utilized by the field of student-athletes from 14 institutions.
Both tournaments consist of a 54-hole stroke play event followed by a medal match play round which features the two lowest scoring teams from the stroke play portion of the tournament. The men will begin their three-day tournament on Monday (April 22) with the women to follow on Thursday (April 25).

The Ashland men return as the defending conference champions and will look to win their second program title.
Findlay and Tiffin are the highest-ranked teams in the latest Midwest Regional rankings at No. 6 and No. 7, followed by Malone at No. 16. The Oilers and Dragons each have one championship title apiece.
On the women’s side, regionally-ranked Findlay (No. 1), Ohio Dominican (No. 8), Ashland (No. 10), Walsh (No. 15), and Tiffin (No. 16) headline a very talented field consisting of 11 full scoring lineups.
The Oilers have won the past five championships and are led by standouts Mary Kelly Mulcahy and Gabby Woods. Mulcahy is the No. 2 individual in Division II and averages 70.6 while totaling six individual wins this season. Woods is ranked No. 12 in the country with a 72.3 average through 30 total rounds.
