Lexington, Ky.—The Great Midwest Athletic Conference is preparing for its tenth annual Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships, hosted by the University Club in Lexington, Ky.
 
The par 72, 6,014-yard layout on the Big Blue Course will be utilized by the field of student-athletes from 13 institutions.
 
Both tournaments consist of a 54-hole stroke play event followed by a medal match play round which features the two lowest scoring teams from the stroke play portion of the tournament. The men will begin their three-day tournament on Monday (April 24) with the women to follow on Thursday (April 27).

The Tiffin men return as the defending conference champions and will look to win their second program title. The Dragons are currently ranked No. 11 in the latest regional rankings.
 
The University of Findlay is the highest-ranking team from the conference in the Midwest region, coming in at No. 3. The Oilers are led by senior standout Tanner Grzegorczyk, who is averaging a score of 71.15 this season.
 
On the Women’s side, regionally ranked Findlay (No.1), Tiffin (No. 5), Walsh (No. 8), and Ashland (No. 17) headline a very talented field consisting of nine full scoring lineups and one individual (Lake Erie).
 
The Oilers have won the past four championships, including a national championship last season. Coach Dom Guarnieri returns a talented lineup, with three individuals in the top 35 players in the country. Mary Kelly Mulcahly, Jill Schmitmeyer, and Gabby Woods lead the way for the Oilers, each averaging below 75.
