KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Findlay, Hillsdale and Trevecca were among the 16 teams and 86 players that competed at the Midwest/Central Regional on May 6-8 at the Shoal Creek Golf Club.
Findlay had the highest finish of the three, finishing eighth with a three-round team score of 886 (303, 287, 296). Parker Haynes had the best finish for the Oilers, posting a total score of 218 (73, 74, 71) to tie for 21st.
Hillsdale tied for 11th with a team score of 896 (296, 294, 306). Ryan Zetwick was the top performer from the league, finishing tied for 10th with a 54-hole score of 214 (69, 74, 71).
Trevecca finished just one stroke behind Hillsdale, tying for 13th with a score of 897 (299, 288, 310). Blaine Turner had the highest finish for the Trojans with score of 217 (73, 70, 74) to finish tied for 17th.
The top four teams and the top individual not on an advancing team, will move on to the Division II championship later this month in Palm Beach, Florida.
