INDIANAPOLIS – Competing in high-profile events, Trevecca Nazarene and Findlay were able to share Great Midwest Athletic Conference Golf Athletes of the Week as announced on Wednesday afternoon.
The Findlay men are ranked 10th in the latest Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll for Division II while Tiffin is in the receiving votes category. In the WGCA Poll, the Findlay women are ranked sixth nationally and again, Tiffin is in the receiving votes category.

Turner went back-to-back for conference weekly honors after recently dominating the Mississippi College Invitational and now, posting the second-best score in the field at the TNU-hosted Music City Invitational.
Turner was runner-up to only Ashland’s Beau Beryl at the Hermitage Golf Club as the Trojans delivered a team title with a two-round score of 569 (290-279).
Turner posted rounds of 67 (-5) and 69 (-3) to finish with a 36-hole total of 136 (-8). As a team, TNU beat out several teams from the Midwest Region that should bode well for postseason hopes, including Northwood, Ferris State and Ashland, a future conference member.
Turner lowered his average yet again, this time to a league-leading number of 71.50 on the season in 14 rounds scored.

Kristina Kniesly
Findlay

Logansport, IN (Logansport HS)
The Oilers have lofty expectations this spring as a top-10 program in Division II and demonstrated why in their spring debut at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate.
Findlay posted a three-round total of 916 (300-311-305) to finish runner-up in their first tournament of the new calendar year.
Kniesly led the entire tournament field with 12 made birdies and recorded her third consecutive top-10 finish going back to the fall.
Kniesly posted a 224 (74-76-74) and finished fifth individually overall. She improved her scoring average to 77.54 through 11 rounds scored so far this year.
