INDIANAPOLIS – Hillsdale and Trevecca Nazarene received Great Midwest Athletic Conference Golf Athletes of the Week from their respective events from the past few days as announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Roberts went into the week ranking sixth among the top scoring leaders in the conference this season and matched his 2020-21 pace with a top-10 performance out in Las Vegas.
The Chargers competed in the Desert Classic at the Royal Links Golf Club, their second event of the spring in addition to the Saint Leo Invitational down in Florida.
The senior assembled a top-20 finish as he finished tied for 16th in the player field with a three-round score of 218 (73-74-71). Hillsdale would finish eighth as a program in an all-Division II team race.
Roberts scoring average didn’t move much at all through 17 rounds played. It now sits at 72.35 as he sports a pair of top-five finishes in 2020-21 at the Doc Spragg Invitational and Kyle Ryman Memorial Invitational
Women’s Athlete of the Week
Madison Garrett
Trevecca Nazarene
Sophomore

Garrett and the Trojans played their first event of the new calendar year at the Lady Cougar Classic hosted by Columbus State.
The sophomore was impressive in her spring debut as she finished fourth individually following rounds of 78 and 76. She finished 10-over par for the tournament with a two-round total of 154.
TNU tied with Montevallo for fourth in the team scoring with rounds of 316 and 328.
Garrett’s previous best round of the season was an 80 at the Montevallo Full Moon Invitational.
She went into the Lady Cougar Classic third on the team in scoring average and improved her scoring average by almost two full strokes to 82.62 through eight rounds counted.
