INDIANAPOLIS – Kentucky Wesleyan and Tiffin secured Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s & Women’s Golf Athletes of the Week accolades as announced on Wednesday afternoon.
Men’s Athlete of the Week

Tooley was the top finisher among Great Midwest competitors at the Flyer Intercollegiate, an annual event hosted by Lewis University.
The junior fired a three-round total of 226 (78-71-77) and tied for 14th among a 91-player field.
Kentucky Wesleyan would finish tied for seventh as a team at Cog Hill in Lemont, Ill.
Tooley’s scoring average through six rounds is now at 76.50. This represents his third career conference weekly award.
Women’s Athlete of the Week

Johansson tied for fourth overall and was just one shot off the medalist pace as the Dragons competed at the Grand Valley State-hosted Gilda’s Club Invitational.
Johansson continued an impressive rookie season that includes three top-10 finishes already.
She fired round of 73 and 79 (152) to finish in the tie for fourth in a field of 75 total players. The Dragons would end up placing fifth as a team in Allendale, Mich., with rounds of 323 and 332.
Three different players tied for first with a 151, including two from host Grand Valley State and one from reigning national champion UIndy.
Johansson’s scoring average is now at 78.70 on the season through four different events. She currently ranks second on the team in scoring behind two-time conference athlete of the week Alice Putoud (78.00).
She currently ranks 11th among all Great Midwest players in scoring for the current season.
