INDIANAPOLIS – The final selection of Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s & Women’s Golf Athletes of the Week for the fall portion of the season were announced on Wednesday.
 
Men’s Athlete of the Week
Ryan Zetwick
Hillsdale
Junior
Castle Rock, CO (Rock Canyon HS)
 
Zetwick is a sweet-swinging lefty who was the team’s top finisher at the Miami Intercollegiate hosted by Nova Southeastern down in Florida.
 
Two of Zetwick’s rounds were under par as the Chargers finished sixth as a team and fired a three-round total of 868 (287-287-294).
 
Zetwick carded a 69 (-1) in his first round before sandwiching a 75 (+5) around a 70 (E) in a par-70 course layout. His two-day total resulted in 14th overall with a score of 214 (+4).
 
Women’s Athlete of the Week
Alice Putoud
Tiffin
Junior
Lyon, France (Lycee Frederic Fays)
 
For the third time of the fall, Putoud was tapped for conference weekly honors as the Dragons fared well at the Music City Invitational.
 
The junior was the runner-up in the field only to UIndy star Pilar Echeverria as the Dragons would finish fourth as a team.
 
Putoud fired a two-round score of 146 (71-75) to finish 2-over par in the tourney.
 
Tiffin was competing in its final fall event with host Trevecca, Walsh, Malone and Alderson Broaddus, all in the field.
