INDIANAPOLIS – Hillsdale sophomore Charlie Adams was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week on Wednesday morning.
 
The Chargers competed at the Fall ITA Midwest Regional Championships hosted by Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich.
 
Adams had a strong showing in the bracket, going 3-2 and advancing to the Singles Flight A Draw Consolation round. He ended the tourney with a defeat against Jean Segura of Missouri-St. Louis.
 
Adams recorded wins against Purdue Northwest (GLIAC), Illinois Springfield (GLVC) and Northwood (MI) (GLIAC).
