INDIANAPOLIS – Cedarville sophomore Matt Brumbaugh was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week as the spring season continues.
 
Brumbaugh and the Yellow Jackets took care of business in regional action, ultimately winning a dual matchup against Saint Joseph’s (IN).
 
Cedarville improved to 6-8 overall while getting tuned up for league play for a developing rivalry with Davis & Elkins.
 
Brumbaugh won both singles and doubles opportunities to contribute to the Cedarville team point total.
 
At No. 2 singles, he won in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1, vs. his opponent Llya Kalabuukhau and worked with teammate Jonathan Class to win the No. 1 doubles battle, 8-5.
