Men's & Women's Golf Athletes of the Week (Nov. 8)

INDIANAPOLIS - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference announced Men’s and Women’s Golf Athletes of the Week with two members from Trevecca receiving the final recognition of the fall season.
 
The Trevecca men’s team finished eighth at the Trevecca Fall Invitational, and the women’s team finished fifth at the Town and Country Invitational.

Leverton paced the Trojans this past weekend, tying for a 10th-place finish at the Trevecca Fall Invitational. He fired a 153 (74-79) to lead all players from the conference competing in the event.  
 
It represented his best 36-hole score, beating his previous best this season by eight shots.
 
The Trojans finished higher than fellow G-MAC members Kentucky Wesleyan and Alderson Broaddus, who also competed in the event.

Knoxville, TN (Farragut HS)
 
McMahan finished what was a clean sweep of conference golf athletes of the week for the Trojans at the Town and County Invitational in Nashville.
 
She was the model of consistency for the Trojans, finishing both rounds with a score of 75 and earning a tie for fifth place in the event.
 
The sophomore paced the team to a fifth-place finish after shooting her best 36-hole score of the season with a 150. She leads the team going into the spring and also ranks fourth in the conference with a scoring average of 77.79 through 9.5 rounds played.
