G-MAC Men’s Golf Athlete of the Month (September)

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Cedarville junior Jordan Reese kicked off the fall season as the first Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Golf Athlete of the Month for his accomplishments in September.
 
Reese was the medalist at the inaugural Great Midwest Fall Invitational in Lebanon, Ohio, and had an additional runner-up performance to back his monthly credentials.
 
Reese posted a scoring average of 74.62 calculated through eight rounds and four events while the Yellow Jackets as a team compiled a scoring average of 308.12.
 
He has fired two of the best rounds in the G-MAC this season, posting a 69 (-3) to finish his Great Midwest Fall Invitational medalist run and in the first round of the NCCAA Midwest Regional, where the Yellow Jackets won top team honors.
 
Reese is coming off a strong sophomore campaign where he tied for first in the G-MAC Championship at Four Bridges Country Club and was edged in a close playoff.
 
Reese also tied for 22nd at the NCAA Midwest Regional #1 and was tied for 45th at the Ohio Dominican Kickoff Classic in his season debut.
 
The Yellow Jackets next hit the links in mid-October at the Ohio Valley Highlands Cup Challenge in Marietta.
