Trevecca Nazarene Qualifies for NCAA Men’s Golf Super Regional

INDIANAPOLIS
– The NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Central/Midwest Regional will include Great Midwest Athletic Conference champion Trevecca Nazarene on May 2-4.
 
The Trojans, four-time G-MAC champions, are ticketed as one of 20 teams in the field for the regional. Ten teams from the Central Region and 10 more from the Midwest Region were selected.
 
As an at-large selection, Trevecca Nazarene is the officially the first G-MAC regional postseason qualifier in the league’s history.
 
The Trojans have won conference trophies in 2013, 2014, 2015 and most recently, captured a title in 2016 at Four Bridges Country Club behind medalist and senior Aaron Burnett.
 
A total of 80 teams and 32 individuals will be competing in regional competition around four different super regionals.
 
The NCAA Central/Midwest Regional will be hosted by Grand Valley State University at The Meadows in Allendale, Mich.
 
The top five teams and top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional (regardless of region) will advance to the finals on May 17-21, at Green Valley Ranch in Denver, Colo.,
 
The final will be hosted by Metropolitan State University of Denver.
