GREENWOOD, Ind. - Cedarville sophomore Jordan Reese was named the fifth Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Golf Athlete of the Week for the spring season.

Reese forged through less-than-ideal conditions in a weekend ravaged by weather at the NCAA Midwest Regional #4 at Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville, Ind.
 
Reese led the Yellow Jackets with a 29th-place tie (with teammate Taylor Holt) as Cedarville went up against the best from Midwest Region with the GLIAC and GLVC well represented.
 
The Yellow Jackets finished 18th in the field as Reese finished with a 36-hole total of 153.
 
He carded a first-round score of 74 before closing with a 79.
 
Reese and Cedarville are getting ready for the G-MAC Championships at Four Bridges Country Club next week in Middletown, Ohio.
