INDIANAPOLIS - Ohio Valley's Camilo Sarmiento and Trevecca Nazarene's Noah Mudd were named Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Athletes of the Week on Monday.
During a tumultuous week where the conference experienced three different teams in first place following games, Ohio Valley was able to maintain a lead at the top while pushing through the second half of the league schedule.

Sarmiento scored a goal in each game against Davis & Elkins and Alderson Broaddus as the Fighting Scots contested West Virginia schools.
Despite a double-overtime setback against AB, the Fighting Scots earned their ninth win of the season on Saturday by rebounding to blank Davis & Elkins, 2-0.
Sarmiento broke the scoreless tie midway through the second half against the Senators, scoring the game's first goal in the 71st minute.
Against Alderson Broaddus, he scored a go-ahead goal early into the second half before the Battlers mounted their comeback.

Mudd and the Trojans performed a 4-0 shutout in conference play against Malone on Saturday. The Trojans played an early-week non-conference match against No. 9 Tusculum and kept a high-scoring offense in check.
Mudd and TNU's defense has allowed under a goal per game through 11 contests. The Trojans completed the regular-season sweep against the Pioneers after also beating Malone on Sep. 15, 3-0.
Mudd has started 11 of the 12 games he has appeared in this season and the Trojans enter this week at 3-3-1 in the G-MAC standings.
