Greenville, SC - The NCCAA Golf Selection Committee is pleased to announce the nine women’s and 18 men’s teams, along with the six individual competitors for each event, who will compete in the 2012 NCCAA Golf Invitational (Women) and Championship (Men). This will be the 17th National Men’s Golf Championship and 2nd year of the National Women’s Golf Invitational as it progresses toward becoming a National Championship in 2014.
Competition begins on Monday, October 22 at The Hombre Golf Club in Panama City Beach, Florida with the 36-hole Women’s Invitational concluding on Tuesday and the Men’s Championship concluding on Wednesday. This will be the fifth consecutive year that the NCCAA events have been conducted at The Hombre Golf Club and the eighth since 2004.

The events will begin on Sunday, October 21 with practice rounds and the Tee-Off Banquet sponsored by the Panama City CVB & Sports Commission. Once again, the NCCAA will partner with the Panama City Men’s Rescue Mission & Bethel Village for Women to provide a Christian Service Project. Mission residents will be invited to attend the Tee-Off banquet and sit with a team that will become their adopted favorite for the week.
Each resident will receive a gift bag from the school including school apparel and various items requested by the mission, such as toiletries, devotional books, and snacks. Residents will be invited to come support their teams on the final round of each team’s competition. The NCCAA will also provide a cash gift to the missions to help support their ongoing ministries.
