OWNESBORO, Kentucky - Kentucky Wesleyan finished 12th in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Golf Championship with a three-round 984 at the Country Club of Paducah in Paducah, Ky.
Patrick Schirmer led the Panthers with a 243 (87-76-80) including KWC's low-score on the second round. Patrick Hibbs recorded a 247 (84-80-83); followed by Zach Buckner's 248 (81-87-80); Mitch Faulk's 253 (87-81-85); and Sam Key's 258 (93-80-85).
Buckner posted the Panther's best-score on the first day with a 81 and tied Schrimer for the low-score in the third round with 80.
Northern Kentucky's Corey Richmond won medalist honors with a 224 and the Norse also captured the Championship with a 925.
KWC will play at the Cedarville (Ohio) Invitational on Monday, April 23 and Tuesday, April 24.
