Week 2 of G-MAC Men’s Soccer began with nonconference games, where the G-MAC went 4-5-4, earning victories over opponents in the GSC, PSAC, ECC and GLIAC. The week concluded with two conference matches on Tuesday, with Findlay narrowly defeating Northwood and Walsh and Ohio Dominican playing to a tie.

Game Highlights:
 
  • Kentucky Wesleyan earned their first victory of the season Friday, with a win against Union 2-1 on the road behind goals from Carter Ford and Jersey Lopez. After Union tied the match in the second half, Lopez scored the game-winning goal on a penalty kick in the 74th minute, while goalkeeper Matteo Graniero recorded seven saves to secure the victory.
  • Malone defeated California University of Pennsylvania 2-0 on Senior Day to earn their first win of the season. After scoring no goals in the first half, Felipe Albertim Matheis and Julius Eckmann scored in the final seven minutes.
  • Ohio Dominican defeated D’Youville 3-2 Saturday, picking up their first win, by showing their productive offense with goals from Miguel Angel Santillan Camarero, Maddux Camden and Keagen Daniels. The Panthers were outshot 17-5, but they held on for the win.
  • Thomas More beat Wisconsin-Parkside 1-0 Sunday to close out their nonconference schedule, with freshman Cooper Walters scoring the game-winning goal in the 68th minute. Goalkeeper Joey Jones made a career-high four saves to record a clean sheet. The Saints move to 2-2-0 on the season.
  • Findlay scraped by Northwood 1-0 Tuesday to open G-MAC play and improve to 4-0-0 on the season. Carson Oberski scored an early game-winning goal in the 14th minute.
  • Walsh and Ohio Dominican played to a draw. Ohio Dominican took an early 1-0 lead in the 17th minute, and Walsh battled back towards the end to earn the tie.
