NORTH CANTON,Ohio – The Walsh University men’s basketball team continues their journey at the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship. After winning their fifth conference title, the Cavaliers earned an automatic qualifying spot, ultimately receiving the No. 1 seed in the region.
 
Walsh is serving as the host site for the Midwest with all games taking place inside Alumni Arena. The Midwest Regional Final pits the Cavaliers against the No. 3 seeded Michigan Tech Huskies.
 
The Cavaliers have now defeated No. 8 William Jewell and No. 5 Northern Michigan en route to the regional championship final. This is Walsh’s first sweet sixteen appearance in the Division II era.
