Owensboro, Ky.- The Dragons won their second consecutive women’s tennis championship Saturday, April 26. Tiffin upset the No. 1 seed Findlay 4-2.
The momentum started early for the Dragons as Emily Barrett and Player of the Year Jem Choi were victorious at No. 1 doubles.
Tiffin went on to win four straight singles matches with victories from Player of the Year Jem Choi followed by Emily Barrett, Ana Lepinay, and Carina Gilman.
Tiffin will earn the automatic qualifying bid while other teams from the league hope to earn an at-large bid to the NCAA Midwest Regional. The selection show is slated for Monday, May 5.
