OVERVIEW:
Findlay, Tiffin, Ashland, Walsh, and Northwood collected wins during week 7 of the 2025 football season. Findlay and Ashland remain as the only two undefeated teams in league play.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
  • The Findlay Oilers remain undefeated through week 7 after a 28-0 shutout over Kentucky Wesleyan. The Oiler defense was dominant, allowing just 151 yards of Kentucky Wesleyan offense. Johnny Harris led the charge with five tackles and one interception. Both teams remained scoreless through the first quarter before a Justin Finkbine interception return put Findlay up 7-0. Jayden Farmer found the back of the endzone twice, finishing the day with 57 yards on 13 attempts.
  • Tiffin picked up a win over Thomas More to improve to 4-1 in the conference. Ethan Evers led a defensive effort held the Saints to under 300 total yards of offense. Evers was credited with three tackles and one interception, earning him Defensive Player of the Week honors. The offense was powered by Alex Johnson, who connected on three touchdowns for 247 yards.
  • Manaki Watanabe shined for the Eagles in their 31-14 win over Ohio Dominican. The kicker nailed a 50 yard field goal in the opening drive to put the Eagles ahead 3-0. A Ty’aris Stevenson 25 yard touchdown run  extended the lead 10-0. Ashland would finish with 291 yards of total offense to remain undefeated in the conference.
  • The Walsh Cavaliers got back in the win column after a 20-13 victory over Lake Erie. Cole Norris was 14-16 on the day for 151 yards and one touchdown. For the defense, Michael Howman Williams led the way with eight tackles.
  • Northwood quarterback Ethan Hamby had another impressive week, leading the Timberwolves to a victory over Hillsdale. He passed for 287 yards while accounting for four touchdowns in a battle for the Riepma Cup. Hamby’s performance earned him athlete of the week honors for th second straight week.
