Football Tied for 16th in Latest AFCA National Poll

Waco, Texs- Despite a hard-fought win on Saturday, the University of Findlay football team climbed to no. 16 in the latest American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Coaches Poll — the highest ranking in program history. The previous best was no. 18, achieved in 2009.

The Oilers join #1 Ferris State, #6 Augustana, #7 Grand Valley State, #11 Minnesota State, #15 Indianapolis, #16 Minnesota-Duluth, and #22 Ashland as the lone teams ranked in Super Region III. Ashland joins the Oilers as the lone teams representing the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

Findlay will host Kentucky Wesleyan this Saturday with kickoff set for noon.
