17th Annual Midwest Region Crossover set to take place Oct. 17-18

HAMMOND, Ind- The largest NCAA volleyball tournament in the country is set to take place in Hammond, Ind. beginning on Friday, Oct. 17 through Saturday, Oct. 18 at the Hammond Sportsplex.  

The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC), Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) and the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) will all be partaking in the event, adding up to 38 teams competing.  Each team is guaranteed three matches and every session will use eight courts at once.

The G-MAC has 13 teams, the GLIAC has 11 teams and the GLVC has 14 teams.

The top seeds in each team are as follows: Findlay in the G-MAC, Ferris State in the GLIAC and University of Missouri-St. Louis for the GLVC.

The first session will begin at 9 AM CT on Friday morning, followed by sessions at 11:30 AM, 2 PM, 4:30 PM and 7 PM.  Live coverage will be for all eight courts streamed through BallerTV.com.  

Concluding the games, the Midwest Region Crossover All-Tournament Team will be announced.
