INDIANAPOLIS- Ashland and Findlay remain as the lone undefeated teams in the conference with a perfect 7-0 mark. This marks the final week of the regular season.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
- The Dragons had a 2-0 week with wins over Malone and Walsh. In a close 11-9 victory against the Pioneers, Lillian Graham came up huge with five goals on eight shots. The goalkeeper tandem of Sarah Hart and Paige Waldrup totaled 10 saves, while Waldrup earned the win in goal. Tiffin forced Malone to 20 turnovers, while picking up 19 ground balls. Against Walsh, TU put up 18 goals, while only giving up 10. The Dragons outshot the Cavaliers 40-25, with Lauren Walsh recording four goals.
- Lake Erie outscored the Arrows 13-2 to pick up their first conference win of the season. Claire Varvel and Brooke McNeal led the way with three goals apiece.
- Ashland’s Annie Duncan led a defensive effort that allowed just seven goals through two games. Duncan’s 14 saves and two wins earned her Defensive Player of the Week honors.
- Findlay found themselves victorious over Thomas More and Northwood. Rebecca Chimel and Cora West combined for nine of the Oilers’13 goals against TMU. UF put up 19 goals against Northwood as Caroline Weber and Josie Owens combined for seven saves, while giving up just two goals.
