INDIANAPOLIS- A trio of schools in Davenport, Seton Hill, and Northwood enter the month of April with a perfect conference mark. The Griffins have just two losses on the year, both to nationally-ranked opponents.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
- The Seton Hill defense put up a dominant performance, giving up just 10 goals in a 3-0 week. In a 17-3 win over Wheeling, Tucker Zostant picked up seven of the Griffins’ 40 ground balls, and was a perfect 7-7 on faceoffs. Carter Li connected on three of SHU’s 17 goals. Li tabbed another hattrick in the Griffins’ win over Davis & Elkins. SHU finished off the week with a 23-7 victory over Tiffin. Li once again added three goals for Seton Hill on seven shots. Cullen Green led a defensive effort with five caused turnovers and three ground balls.
- Davenport scored 20 goals in both of their wins over Tiffin and Thomas More. Jayden Ashley put on a show for the Panthers, scoring 10 goals against the Saints. Ashley totaled 16 goals for the week, to earn Offensive Player of the Week honors.
- The Saints won a close 16-15 battle over the Pioneers from Malone. TMU came back from a 6-0 deficit to beat Malone in overtime, courtesy of a Bryce Collins’ golden goal. Collins’ goal was assisted by Spencer Lethbridge to seal the victory.
- Northwood had another perfect week with conference wins over Wheeling and Points Park. The Timberwolves totaled 55 goals, while giving up just 23.
