Tori Wanat has been nationally recognized for her performance last week.
On Tuesday, March 24, it was announced by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) that Wanat, a standout sophomore midfielder, was awarded Co-Offensive Player of the Week Honors for Division II.
She split the award with East Stroudsburg University sophomore Sadi Kauffman.
This past week, Wanat played a critical role in helping lead the Eagles to a 3-0, unbeaten record.
Against the Lake Erie Storm, Davenport Panthers and Grand Valley State Lakers, she totaled an impressive seven goals, 13 assists and 24 draw controls. She also tacked on seven caused turnovers, making her impact felt on both sides of the ball.
The win over the Lakers was also the Eagles' first since the program began play back in 2019.
On the season, Wanat is up to 22 goals and 18 assists, good for 40 points, while adding 18 ground balls, 14 caused turnovers, and 51 draw controls.
Heading into the middle part of the 2026 campaign with an overall record of 7-4 and an in-conference mark of 2-0, the Eagles are poised to compete for a conference championship by the end of the season.
