Series HIGHLIGHTS:
- Lake Erie vs. Cedarville (Cedarville wins series 3-1) Cedarville and Lake Erie met in Akron, Ohio for a four-game series, with the Yellow Jackets taking three of four. Cedarville’s offense came alive on Friday, totaling 22 hits in 5-4 and 4-0 victories. In game two, senior Jensen Wagoner delivered 6.1 scoreless innings, allowing just five hits, before junior Walker Harris recorded the final two outs. Lake Erie avoided the sweep with a 9-6 win in game four, powered by Matt Fountain, who went a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate.
- Walsh vs. Ashland (Ashland wins series 3-1) Ashland traveled to Walsh and came away with three wins on the weekend. The Eagles opened with a 7-2 victory, marking head coach John Schaly’s 1,000th career win. Ashland carried that momentum into day two, sweeping both games to secure the series. Drew Becker starred in game one, tossing a complete game with 10 strikeouts while allowing just one run on five hits.
- Hillsdale vs. Malone (Series split 2-2) Malone and Hillsdale split their four-game series in Michigan. Malone dominated game one with a 14-1 run-rule victory, led by Athlete of the Week Reilly Tyna, who went 9-for-16 (.563) with nine hits, four runs, a home run, a double, and six RBIs across the week. Hillsdale responded by winning two games to even the series, led by sophomore Gaard Swenson, who collected seven hits over the weekend and is batting .333 on the season.
- Northwood vs. Thomas More (Series split 2-2) Northwood and Thomas More each claimed two wins in their weekend matchup in Michigan. The Timberwolves won games one and three, while the Saints took games two and four. Two contests went to extra innings, both ending in walk-off wins for Northwood. Spencer Fortier scored the winning run on a wild pitch in one game, while Josh Getz delivered an RBI single down the left field line for a 2-1 victory in the other.
- ODU vs. Tiffin (Series split 2-2) Ohio Dominican opened strong with a Saturday sweep, winning 9-7 and 12-4. Tiffin answered on Sunday with two wins of their own (4-0 and 9-7) to split the series. Senior Steven Chapman led the Panthers with seven hits, eight runs, and six RBIs across the weekend, while also pitching 3.1 innings in game two. Tiffin’s game three shutout was powered by Trent Hedges and Ryan Birch, and in game four, Gavin Marceric and Griff Cady each hit home runs in the 9–7 victory.
- Findlay vs. KWC (Findlay Sweeps 4-0) Findlay dominated at home, sweeping Kentucky Wesleyan in four games, highlighted by two walk-off wins on Sunday. The Oilers outscored the Panthers 15-2 on day one. Senior Ethan Mohr improved to 3-0, striking out a career-high 12 over 6.2 innings while allowing just one earned run. Carson Mellott followed with five strong innings, giving up one run on three hits while striking out seven. On day two, Luke Senften delivered a walk-off single in game one, and Athlete of the Week Mason Myers sealed the sweep with a ninth-inning walk-off hit in game two.
