OVERVIEW:
The Great Midwest women’s basketball programs wrapped up the 2025 season with a slate of non-conference matchups and picked up conference play to open up 2026. Northwood holds the only undefeated conference record at 5-0.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
  • The Northwood Timberwolves remain at the top of the conference standings with a perfect 5-0 mark. Maeve St. John continues to shine for NU, averaging 19.3 points,5.7 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game. Against Walsh, the Timberwolves she tabbed 21 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and four steals.
  • Hillsdale handed Malone their first conference loss and second overall loss of the season. The Pioneers entered the contest ranked No. 19 in the country before falling to Hillsdale. Emma Ruhlman recorded a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds while Sarah Aleknavicius and Annalise Pietrzyk each poured in double-digit points. The Chargers held the Pioneers to just 27.5% shooting from the floor with a 6-32 3-point performance. The victory pushed Hillsdale to 6-3 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
  • Lake Erie found themselves victorious over Tiffin in a close 65-62 battle. Jaicee Wallace led the Storm with 14 points on 5-8 from the field. The Lake Erie bench came up huge, contributing 25 points to the final score.
  • The Panthers from KWC earned wins over IU Southeast and Ursuline. Against the Arrows, Emma Bruwer poured in 19 points followed by an 18 point performance from teammate Myah Montgomery. The Panthers forced the Arrows to 18 turnovers that led to 14 points.
